How to Install AirDrain Beneath Artificial Turf
Installation may vary depending on the project surface and turf system. Before getting started, watch the AirDrain installation video for a helpful overview of the process.
- Prepare the surface. Make sure the base is stable, properly graded and directed toward the appropriate drainage points.
- Plan the layout. Identify edges, drains, seams, and areas that will require trimming.
- Connect the tiles. Lay AirDrain over the prepared surface and snap adjoining tiles together.
- Trim as needed. Cut around drains, borders, posts, and irregular edges without blocking water flow.
- Install the turf system. Add any specified padding or system components, then install and secure the turf.
- Test the drainage. Confirm that water moves through the turf and toward the intended drainage area.
