Tide Powder or Liquid Detergent

Tide contains enzymes and bleach which are sometimes helpful for these problems. Pour the detergent on the spot, rub it in and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Wash as usual and repeat if needed. 

Rubbing Alcohol

This is good for removing the green color. Using a sponge wet the spot with isopropyl alcohol and let air dry. Rinse with cold water and work in liquid detergent. Rinse again with cold water and let air dry.

White Vinegar

Pre-treat with warm water. Rub plain white vinegar and rubbing alcohol into the stained area and wash.

Bleach with Hydrogen Peroxide

Use this combo on light colored clothing only. Mix ¼ cup bleach, ¼ cup peroxide, and ¾ cups cold water. Apply to the clothes and gently rub. Let sit for 30-60 minutes and then rinse, washing as usual.

Biz Detergent

Add enough water to cover the clothing in a large pot and bring to a boil. Carefully add one cup of Biz laundry detergent. Stir until dissolved and remove from stove. Put grass-stained clothing in the pot and let soak for about an hour, letting them cool completely. Take the clothes out and wash them.

Molasses or Karo Syrup

Put a few drops on the stain and rub in. Let sit for a few minutes and wash afterward.

Banana Oil

Sold in drug stores, it is also known as amyl acetate and can be helpful in removing these types of stains. Apply directly to the stain, gently rub and rinse with hot water. If the blemish does not go away, mix one cup cold water and two tablespoons of mild detergent with two tablespoons ammonia, and rub in gently.

Fake Lawn Fights Grass Stains the Best
